If your ever stuck in central new york state, it can be a bitch to deal with. But there is a small tribe of yippies up there that are always willing to help. They go by the name The Brotherhood Of The Mountain. Local rogues of society, they tend to drift towards the mountains. There is only one member with an open phone line. Marley Sunshine, who's phone number is 315-827-4568. Ask for Andy, and say your name is mike. When you do this, make sure that you are in the utica/rome/syracuse area. If he isnt there, then keep trying to call back. It will be worth it. This will make it alot easier.
When In Rome
When your stuck in the shitty little rathole known as the city of rome, there isnt a whole lot to do. One excellent point is that the cops are particulary stupid, and that just a little north, in Westernville, there is wilderness, as well as the local tribe of yippies.
If you have kids, and you and your family likes nature, this is a pretty nice place. Get up to the delta lake state park, and theres a swimming beach, nice little camping grounds an beautiful little crannies on the water, and some cool little nature trails. North, there are a lot of hicks that DESPISE yippies, hippies, and the general boho scene, but theres alot of swimming holes, nice people (other than the hicks), and lots of gardens to steal from. A good place to go up that way is Woods Valley ski and board park. Its pretty small, but its a real nice place, good to start the kids out with. As well as some decent drug hookups, more yipsters and general nice people.
When in the actual city, there isnt much to do. Theres a decent headshop on the east side, and there is an old military housing division, abandoned, thats real nice for squatting. DO NOT get caught squatting. There is a very lame drug economy, as well as a lame corpgov economy, so dont come here looking for a CorpGov job.
Holland pattent
This is a real nice little town, northwest of rome. Lots of nice people and woods. A couple good squats. When your in this area, it would be a good Idea to Call Marley (see "get with the locals" above).
