* Tom Waddell Health Center is located at 50 Lech Walesa Street (Ivy Street), in the Public Health building just south of City Hall. Lech Walesa (Ivy) Street is an east-west alley that runs between Grove and Hayes Streets, and the clinic is located on Lech Walesa Street, between Van Ness Avenue and Polk Street.
The clinic is run by the Health Department, and provides urgent care Monday through Friday from 8:30am - 6:30pm, and on Saturday from 8:30am - 5:00pm. The clinic is closed Sunday and on holidays.

* Saint Vincent de Paul Society provides free clothing, furniture and homeless services to people who need it. You must first go to their 'Help Desk' at 470 Ellis Street, between Leavenworth and Jones Streets. Call Sally Rosen at 415.207.9955. Hours: M.T.W. and F. 10am to 12:30pm for clothing 2:00pm to 2:30pm for food and household.
